About Me

My name is Valerie and I am a mother to an incredible little man who was born in February 2011.  I have a loving, supportive husband named Andy.  I could not ask for a better husband and daddy to our son.  I am 25 years old and my hubby is 23, making me a cougar (rawr).   Yes I am one of those moms who got married after we found out we were pregnant, but hey, this is 2012 and things are different now.  I feel like I hit the jackpot with him regardless of our age difference.  When we found out we were pregnant we had only been dating for 7 months, but at that point we already knew we were going to be together forever and were very VERY excited when the test came back positive.

I love crafts, babies, family, Christ, reading, writing, and so many other things.  I started this blog as a place to write down my thoughts, keep a written history of our family life, and to get more experience as a writer since I am working on my first novel.

I have an etsy site which is linked on the home page.  I make baby stuff :-)  I love sewing and love hearing positive feedback from buyers I have never met.  I would have to say the feedback and compliments are the best part of my mini etsy business.  It's so fulfilling!

Anyways, this is my blog.  Its a peek into my personal life, occasionally some craft tutorials,  giveaways here and there, and a place for me to unwind.  Enjoy
